OFFICIAL RULEBOOK

The comprehensive guide to gameplay, officiating standards, and league infrastructure for The League Ohio. All participants are expected to be familiar with these regulations prior to tip-off.

Game Duration & Clock

Games consist of two 20-minute halves with a running clock. The clock stops only for timeouts and during the final 2 minutes of the second half if the score differential is within 15 points.

Roster & Eligibility
  • Minimum of 5 players per roster, maximum of 12.
  • All players must be 18+ and have a signed waiver on file.
  • No roster additions allowed after the 4th week of the regular season.
Overtime Policy

Overtime periods are 3 minutes in length. Each team is granted one additional 30-second timeout. Sudden death rules apply only in the 3rd overtime period.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Enforcement & Penalties

All players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.

  • Respect officials, volunteers, opponents, and league staff.
  • No fighting, threats, or physical altercations.
  • No abusive, discriminatory, or excessive profanity directed toward others.
  • Unsportsmanlike behavior, taunting, or intentionally attempting to injure another player will not be tolerated.
  • Players ejected from a game may face additional disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the league.
  • Team captains are responsible for the conduct of their players and spectators.
  • The League Ohio reserves the right to remove any individual whose behavior negatively impacts the safety, integrity, or reputation of the league.
  • Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, technical fouls, ejections, suspensions, forfeits, or permanent removal from The League Ohio.
  • Zero tolerance for fighting or physical aggression.
  • No excessive profanity or derogatory language directed at officials or opponents.
  • Tampering with league equipment or facility property is strictly prohibited.
  • Unsportsmanlike technical fouls may result in immediate ejection and review for suspension.
